Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use the Apex website, request an estimate, or hire us for roofing work.

Last updated July 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Apex website and to any estimate, repair, or replacement work we perform for you. By using this site or hiring Apex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

In these Terms, "Apex," "we," "us," and "our" mean Apex, a roofing contractor serving the Texas Hill Country. "You" means the person visiting the site or the property owner who hires us.

Our services

We provide roof repairs, roof replacements, gutter work, masonry, window installation, and related exterior work. Any description of our work on this site is general information, not a promise about your specific project. The details of what we will do, when, and for how much are set out in your written estimate and any signed agreement, which control if they conflict with anything on this site.

Estimates and quotes

Estimates are free and based on the information available at the time we prepare them. An estimate is not a final invoice. If we find hidden damage, rot, or other conditions once work begins, we will tell you before doing extra work and adjust the price only with your approval.

Prices in an estimate hold for 30 days unless we state otherwise in writing. Material costs can change, so an expired estimate may need to be updated.

Scheduling and property access

To do the work, we need safe access to your roof, driveway, and the areas around your home. You agree to:

  • Move vehicles, patio furniture, and other belongings out of the work area
  • Keep children and pets indoors while crews are on site
  • Point out anything on or near the roof that could be damaged, such as skylights, solar panels, or satellite dishes

Roofing work depends on the weather. We may reschedule to keep crews safe and to protect your home, and we will keep you updated when that happens.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your written agreement. Unless we agree otherwise, payment is due when the work is finished and you have inspected it. Deposits, when required, are applied to your final balance.

If an invoice is not paid when due, we may pause work until the balance is current.

Insurance claims

We can work with your insurance company on storm and hail damage claims, but we are your contractor, not your insurer or a public adjuster. You are responsible for your own claim, your deductible, and any decision your insurer makes. We do not waive, rebate, or absorb deductibles.

Warranty

We stand behind our work. The specific warranty for your project — what it covers, how long it lasts, and what it excludes — is stated in your written agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to their own terms.

Warranties do not cover damage from storms, fallen trees, foot traffic, other trades working on the roof, or normal wear over time.

Cancellation

You may cancel a signed agreement within the period allowed by Texas law. After work has been scheduled and materials ordered, cancellation may involve restocking or scheduling costs, which we will explain before charging.

Your use of this website

You may use this site for your own, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by trying to break its security, scrape it at scale, or copy its content for a competing business. The text, images, logos, and design on this site belong to Apex or our licensors and are protected by law.

Third-party links

This site may link to other websites, such as manufacturers or review platforms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

We do our work carefully and carry insurance. To the extent the law allows, Apex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from this site or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as our services or the law change. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in the Texas Hill Country region.
